Connection to Nature, Culinary Delights, and Tradition at the Zirmerhof

At the Zirmerhof, the close bonds with nature and an appreciation for culinary excellence have always complemented each other marvelously. The kitchen team takes pride in using the freshest and best ingredients from their own farm, infusing simple dishes with elegance while staying true to the house's time-honored traditions, simultaneously satisfying guests with delectable South Tyrolean fare.

The restaurant's ambiance contributes to this delightful experience. Whether in the elegant "Riese Grimm Hall" with its refined furnishings and paintings by Ignaz Stolz, the charming "Stube 1600," or the sun-kissed terraces offering breathtaking views on warm summer days, each setting adds a unique touch of its own.

Outside guests are more than welcome at the restaurant as well, but are kindly requested to make reservations in advance (the restaurant will send a return confirmation).

Vaulted Wine Cellar

Good to know

Where is the Zirmerhof vineyard located?
It's situated in Montan, in the sunny Etsch Valley. There, the Gewürztraminer PINUS grows at an elevation of 400 meters above sea level. The vineyard emphasizes natural production methods, including wire-frame cultivation and careful tending of the grapes throughout the year. The harvest is done by hand to ensure lower yields per hectare and healthy, high-quality grapes. In addition to wine, the estate also grows apples, plums, apricots, quinces, pears, nuts, and pomegranates.

Can you order culinary and other products from the Zirmerhof online?
Yes, through their online farm store: www.hofladen-suedtirol.com.

What is the "Historical Hospitality Establishment of the Year" award about?
The South Tyrolean Sparkasse Foundation, the Provincial Monument Office, and the Hoteliers and Innkeepers Association honor historical hotels each year for their conscious and careful maintenance practices, as well as their preservation of historical architecture and interior elements, with the accolade of "South Tyrol's Historical Hospitality Establishment of the Year." The Zirmerhof received this distinction in 2010.
